Job Description

The Math & Science Department at Rogers State University is seeking applicants for student tutors. Student tutors will help tutor students in the following subject areas:
•Math
•Physical Science
•Biological Science

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

•Minimum of 3.0 GPA
•Letter of recommendation from a Math/Science faculty member
•Grade of “A” in any course to be tutored
•Willingness to help others
•Strong communication skills
•Good time management skills

Essential Duties Summary

•Assist students with questions
•Help with basic study skills
•Help provide support for course content
•Work example problems and show students additional resources if needed
•Other duties as assigned
•Preference given to Biology/Math/Physical Science majors
